Tribal drums open this track, accentuated with orchestra hits. Counter punches of woodwinds float like a butterfly but sting like a bee. Proud, glorious and stunning all the way through.

02. Hail To An African Queen

Tempo: Med

Opens with staccato strings and a low drum creating a “regal” mood. Ethereal voices enter in a supporting role. An acoustic guitar interlude gives the piece an intimate moment during the middle section. Soundtrack as dynamic as an African landscape.

03. Breathless

Tempo: Slow

Piano motive gently enters to begin a piece that delicately unfolds. Strings enter, dancing above. Melodic, memorable, simply breathless.

04. Repulsion

The darkness...the horror...the suspense...the nightmares...the music!

05. Third Day

Tempo: Slow

Gut string guitar sets the mood. A string quartet enters with woodwinds. Stunning in its simplicity. A masterpiece of melody and melancholy.

06. Quentin Tarantella

Tempo: Med

A Tarantella is a danced solo by a supposed victim of a “tarantula” bite. Sexy drums, angry bass, spaghetti western tremolo guitar. Very “Independent Film”.

07. Dirty Harry

Tempo: Med

Clavinova intro and a hip hop beat gives this seventies (ish) funky track a late night feel. Muted trumpet colors it jazzy and laid back.
